BRRRRRR! A month ago I was writing about our unseasonably balmy weather and now things have truly taken a turn for the worse and, if you’re anything like me, you’ll be finding it a bit of a mission to keep warm each day! But you no longer need to feel the chill while breastfeeding.
sales of our cosy woollen knitted nursing dresses have really taken off
Not surprisingly, sales of our cosy woollen knitted nursing dresses have really taken off and rest assured we’ve still got stock of lots of lovely snuggly pieces on the shelves.
Here’s my pick of three key pieces that are all you need to stay wonderfully warm while feeding this winter:
If you want a really warm, classic quality breastfeeding jumper that will see you through the chilly times then Leah, from Danish supplier Milker, is just the ticket. It comes in two fabulous shades; a grey/green colour that is flattering to most complexions or a deep, rich burgundy that we call claret. Leah is made from a really soft blend of 50% wool, 50% viscose. The nursing opening is via the buttons on the shoulder seams and it’s very discreet due to the generous under-layer which covers the top of your bust.
If you’re more of a dress person then the tunic version of Leah is called Liza. We’ve sold out of blue but we still have stock of classic black and “wear with everything” grey. Wear it with tights (coloured ones if you dare – jewel shades work brilliantly with these sombre colours) or, for more warmth, a pair of thick leggings and some cosy winter boots.
Last but not least, here at M&M we absolutely luuuuurve the Tabatha dress from Swedish supplier, Love Milk! In two different bold stripe colourways and made of a soft knitted 100% cotton fabric with a semi-fitted shape, it’s ultra flattering, stylish and practical, all at the same time! Your friends won’t believe this is a breastfeeding dress. To breastfeed, simply pull the cowl neck down and pull up the hidden inner panel. Perfect for everyday when you want to feel like you’ve made a bit of an effort (yes, it is still just about possible when you’ve had a baby!).
So there you have it. Wishing you all a very festive, happy and cosy December!
